Blockchain company ConsenSys accidentally granted access to its systems to a developer linked to North Korea, who remained in the system for a month. Matt Corva, the firm's chief legal counsel, explained to Drop Site that the programmer was brought in through a third-party vendor and worked at ConsenSys as an external consultant. According to him, the team quickly detected signs of a threat and blocked access in accordance with internal protocols. The investigation found no harmful consequences for the company.
