On November 12, 2026, the CIFKOM 26 conference on digital compliance, regulation of digital assets, and cross-border financial services in the EAEU and CIS will take place at the Cyber Dome in Moscow, according to a press release.
The organizers describe CIFKOM as the only specialized event on digital compliance in the region. It targets representatives from government agencies, banks, payment and fintech services, the crypto industry, consulting and auditing firms, as well as importers and exporters. Invited government bodies include the Central Bank, financial intelligence agencies, the Ministry of Finance, and law enforcement agencies.
The EAEU is the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering, a regional financial oversight organization similar to the FATF. It includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and other countries in the region.
The main topics of the conference will include the development of stablecoins, new payment mechanisms, and their application in international settlements. The agenda will feature discussions on current and prospective legislation regarding digital assets, with participation from relevant government representatives and industry experts.
Other topics on the CIFKOM 26 agenda include:
- AML/KYC and reducing legal risks;
- financial monitoring and combating illegal operations;
- blocking and freezing of assets;
- development of cross-border financial services.
In 2025, speakers included State Duma deputy Anton Tkachev, VEB.RF Vice President Dmitry Akasov, Web3 Tech CEO Artem Kalikhov, and GMT Legal founder Andrey Tugarin.
According to the organizers, CIFKOM 25 attracted over 400 participants, more than 30 speakers, 60 media partners, and 20 partners. In 2026, around 600 industry representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, China, and other countries are expected to attend.
