The increase in LINK's price coincides with a broader cryptocurrency rally, but Chainlink has also solidified its gains with several significant announcements.
On September 3, the Chainlink team revealed a strategic partnership with Bottomline, one of the three largest service providers for the SWIFT payment system.

According to the announcement, Bottomline processes over $16 trillion in payments each year and serves more than 600 banking clients.
As part of this partnership, Chainlink will provide a "secure level of interaction and orchestration," connecting Bottomline's existing payment infrastructure with both public and private blockchains.
Banks will have the ability to use ISO-20022 messaging to access the on-chain payment infrastructure through a single connection, independent of any specific network.
Additionally, on September 1, Chainlink announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce would begin utilizing its infrastructure to transfer macroeconomic data onto the blockchain.

The data includes three key metrics:

- Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers
This initiative will allow blockchain applications connected to Chainlink’s infrastructure to access up-to-date economic data from the U.S. government.
It is worth noting that in August, analysts at Standard Chartered raised their forecast for LINK to $200 by the end of 2030, linking this projection to Chainlink's role as a critical infrastructure for tokenized assets.
