Chainalysis has filed a complaint against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regarding a $95 million contract awarded to TRM Labs without a competitive bidding process.
The complaint alleges that ICE assessed Chainalysis based on criteria from an earlier Request for Information consisting of 18 questions, which were not included in subsequent documents provided to alternative suppliers. Additionally, some of the requirements closely matched existing products and commercial ties of TRM Labs.
