Co-founders of Celsius, Shlomi Daniel Leon and Hanoch Goldstein, have been ordered to pay the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over $6 million to settle claims regarding misleading statements about the platform's security.

Leon is responsible for $4.1 million, while Goldstein must pay $2.014 million. They are also prohibited from promoting and selling specific products and services related to asset and cryptocurrency operations. These payments will count towards a broader settlement of $4.72 billion.
