FinanceBlockchain.com is seeking to raise $500 million through an initial public offering (IPO) this year, targeting a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion, as reported by Bloomberg.

The London-based cryptocurrency firm has submitted a confidential IPO application with the Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this year.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Blockchain.com aims to complete its public offering by the end of 2026. The London-based company specializes in cryptocurrency financial services, including exchange, wallet, trading, and lending solutions.

Earlier this year, Blockchain.com filed confidentially with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed IPO, which allows the firm to initiate the SEC review process without making its financial details public right away.

This year has seen a slowdown in cryptocurrency IPOs, following a series of notable listings in 2025, such as Circle and crypto exchanges like Gemini Space Station and Bullish.

The first half of 2026 was marked by a depressed crypto market, which led many companies to postpone their IPO plans in hopes of a recovery in asset prices. Recent months have shown signs of improvement, which may encourage firms to revisit their IPO strategies.

Blockchain.com has yet to provide a comment regarding this development to CoinDesk.
