Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has announced the launch of its second Pitch & Slay competition aimed at women entrepreneurs in blockchain, Web3, and cryptocurrency. Participants will present their projects to a jury and compete for a prize pool of $6,000. This was reported to ForkLog by Lilia Malikova, the marketing manager for the exchange in the CIS region.

The competition is part of the Blockchain4Her initiative, which supports women in launching and scaling businesses in high-tech industries.

“This is the second time Bitget is hosting this event. Last year, we received over 20 applications from female entrepreneurs. Five participants made it to the finals, three of whom received cash prizes and are continuing to develop their projects.

The Blockchain4Her initiative helps women around the world create and scale businesses in high-tech. Bitget is ready to not only provide grants but also offer comprehensive consulting support,” said Malikova.

The Pitch & Slay competition will take place in three stages:

  1. Application submission — until March 31, 2026.
  2. Shortlist formation of participants.
  3. Offline project presentations to the jury.

Three winners will share the $6,000 prize pool. To participate, applicants must fill out an application, providing project information and contact details. Bitget representatives will reach out to the selected nominees.

The final will take place in April in Moscow. The exact date and venue will be announced later by the organizers.

Previously, Bitget launched a promotion for new users of its TradFi platform in the CIS countries and Ukraine. Participants will retain profits from their first trade, and in case of losses, they will receive compensation of up to 20 USDT.
