Bitdeer Launches Energy-Efficient Bitcoin Miner SEALMINER A4

Bitdeer has launched its new SEALMINER A4 series of Bitcoin mining rigs, which feature an impressive energy efficiency rating of 9.45 J/TH. This new lineup includes several models designed for different cooling systems and performance needs.

The flagship A4 Ultra Hydro model is tailored for standard server racks, boasting a hashrate of 886 TH/s. Meanwhile, the SEALMINER A4 Pro Hydro variant offers a slightly lower hashrate of 680 TH/s while consuming 10.9 J/TH. Both models are optimized for hydro-cooling and can operate within a wide temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.

“Regardless of the environment, the main components remain in the 'optimal comfort zone' to achieve maximum efficiency,” the company stated.

Additionally, the A4 Pro Air miner, which relies on air cooling and features four fans, delivers a hashrate of 336 TH/s and maintains a low noise level. It operates at 10.9 J/TH and is guaranteed to function effectively within temperatures from -20°C to 50°C.

Competitive Landscape

The launch of the SEALMINER A4 series comes amid a competitive push for energy efficiency in Bitcoin mining. In late 2025, Auradine unveiled its Teraflux mining rigs, which claim efficiencies of up to 9.8 J/TH. Sales for these models are anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2026. Currently, the Antminer S23 series from Bitmine, introduced in May 2025, holds a slight edge with energy consumption levels of 9.5 J/TH, leading the profitability charts for Bitcoin mining.

Earlier this year, Bitdeer also released the SEALMINER DL1 Air, aimed at mining cryptocurrencies using the Scrypt hashing algorithm, such as Litecoin and Dogecoin. As the market evolves, the introduction of the SEALMINER A4 series highlights Bitdeer's commitment to enhancing mining efficiency and performance.
