Anthropic has unveiled a suite of connectors that allow its AI model, Claude, to interface directly with widely-used design and 3D software, including Blender, Adobe, Autodesk, and others.
According to the company, "Claude may not replace taste or imagination, but it can open up new ways of working — faster and more ambitious idea generation, a broad skill set, and the ability for creative individuals to tackle large-scale projects."
The new integrations include:
- Ableton: Utilizes Claude's insights for Live and Push products.
- Adobe: Enhances creative processes across over 50 tools in Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Express.
- Affinity by Canva: Streamlines repetitive tasks in creative workflows.
- Autodesk Fusion: Enables 3D model creation and editing through dialogue with Claude for Fusion subscribers.
- Blender: Offers a Python API interface for 3D artists.
- Resolume Arena and Wire: Assist visual effects artists in managing their projects.
- SketchUp: Facilitates 3D modeling by turning conversations with Claude into actionable insights.
- Splice: Empowers music producers to search their sample libraries via the Claude app.
Additionally, the developers of Blender have introduced an MCP connector for Claude, allowing 3D artists to manipulate entire scenes or create scripts for batch processing.
