Furthermore, the company has eliminated the previously planned reduction of usage limits during peak times for Pro and Max users, while also accelerating the API speed limits for Claude Opus models.
This boost in capabilities is directly tied to Anthropic's new collaboration with SpaceX, which provides considerable computational resources.

SpaceX Expands Portfolio with xAI Acquisition
In related developments, xAI has been absorbed by SpaceX, rebranding itself as SpaceXAI.
Through this acquisition, Anthropic gains access to the extensive resources of the Colossus 1 data center, boasting over 300 MW of power and more than 220,000 Nvidia GPUs.
Additional deals include agreements with:
- Amazon for up to 5 GW of capacity, with nearly 1 GW expected by the end of 2026;
- Google and Broadcom for 5 GW starting in 2027;
- Microsoft and Nvidia for an Azure infrastructure deal valued at up to $30 billion;
- A $50 billion investment in AI infrastructure in collaboration with Fluidstack.
We utilize multiple AI hardware platforms to train and deploy Claude, and we are actively seeking further capacity expansion.
Anthropic is exploring opportunities for orbital computing solutions in partnership with SpaceX and plans to expand its infrastructure through a recent collaboration with Amazon for projects in Asia and Europe.
Previously, users expressed concerns about Claude's rapid consumption of usage limits. In late April, Anthropic introduced new connectors to enhance Claude's compatibility with well-known design and 3D software like Blender, Adobe, and Autodesk.
