Animoca Brands, in partnership with Visa, has launched a pilot version of AI services for the Minds trading platform. Now, autonomous agents can independently search for discounts and make purchases on behalf of users.

The technology utilizes Visa's Intelligent Commerce infrastructure. With this, AI agents analyze available rewards from Visa cards and find suitable products. The first store to test the system was the Bruce Lee Club in Hong Kong.

Developers emphasized that users set their own spending limits and transaction rules. Payments are processed through Visa's secure tokenization system, ensuring that card data is not directly transmitted.

According to Animoca Brands CEO Yat Siu, this marks a shift from simple recommendations to "agent commerce," where artificial intelligence handles routine tasks within set permissions.

The Minds platform allows users to create and configure AI agents without any programming skills. In the future, the company plans to expand the service to other regions.

Recall that in June, Alchemy, in partnership with Visa, launched the AgentCard service. This solution enables AI agents to make online purchases on behalf of users.
