The Ukrainian government app "Diia" has introduced a personal AI agent based on Google's Gemini. The assistant helps users quickly find and access services directly through chat, as announced on the official Telegram channel of the service.

"No need to search for the right service on your own anymore. Just type 'Diia.AI' and let it guide you, select a service based on your situation, and suggest next steps," the announcement states.

To use the assistant, users need to update the app, after which it will appear in the bottom menu.

The assistant can:

  • provide 24/7 consultations regarding services in "Diia";
  • recommend services tailored to specific life situations;
  • generate a registration certificate for an adult or child directly in the chat;
  • inform users about fines for traffic violations;
  • offer step-by-step instructions, such as how to open a sole proprietorship.

"'Diia.AI' is not just a chatbot. It is an AI agent that not only answers questions but also assists in carrying out actions," the developers noted.

In September, Ukraine launched the "world's first" government AI agent on the Diia portal, initially operating in an open beta test format.

Additionally, in November, the government began a joint initiative with Nvidia to create a sovereign artificial intelligence.
