According to the investigator, Bauer utilized internal tools to find hidden wallets of crypto influencers through referral codes and UIDs, then shared this information with a group of accomplices.
The perpetrators compiled addresses in a Google spreadsheet, tracking early purchases of meme coins by major players. This allowed them to open positions before influencers began publicly promoting the coins.
ZachXBT released screenshots from April and August 2025 containing personal information of traders. The detective also shared an audio recording where Bauer boasts about having access to information on any Axiom client. Several victims have already confirmed the authenticity of the disclosed addresses.
The Axiom team responded to the investigation, stating they were "shocked and disappointed." The project has revoked employee access to support tools and promised to hold those responsible accountable.
