The U.S. government has moved approximately $297 million in cryptocurrency to Coinbase Prime, consisting of 3,940 BTC and 30,014 ETH, according to data from Arkham. These digital assets were confiscated during various criminal investigations.
It is important to note that this transfer does not necessarily signal an upcoming sale of the assets. Analysts previously estimated that U.S. authorities hold a total of cryptocurrency assets valued at around $20.6 billion, which includes 325,000 BTC, 28,000 ETH, 146 million USDT, and 750 WBTC.
