The digital assets platform Zumo, in collaboration with Quantum Chain, is set to establish a quantum-resistant financial infrastructure in the United Kingdom.

The developers aim to integrate the secure blockchain technology of Quantum Chain with Zumo’s services. This initiative is tailored for banks and regulated financial institutions that are adopting tokenized assets and digital currencies.

The primary objective of this project is to safeguard financial networks against the threats posed by advanced quantum computers and sophisticated attacks that utilize artificial intelligence.

Nick Jones, CEO of Zumo, linked this partnership to the preparations of UK authorities for the rollout of regulations in the industry:

“The UK is introducing regulations for crypto assets, which is increasing institutional demand. Our partnership with Quantum Chain will enable financial institutions to safely launch new products and protect them from next-generation cyber threats.”

Max Denega, founder of Quantum Chain, emphasized that their collaboration will accelerate the transition of the UK financial sector to post-quantum security standards and facilitate the integration of blockchain technology within traditional banks.

It is worth noting that in September, Andrew Bailey, the Governor of the Bank of England, called for a delay in the regulation of artificial intelligence.
