Members of the ruling Labour Party in the UK are considering a permanent ban on donations in digital assets to politicians, according to The Guardian. This initiative stems from the scandal involving Nigel Farage, who reportedly received millions of pounds in "gifts" from representatives of the crypto industry.
In March, authorities already imposed a moratorium on crypto donations. The Labour Party aims to make this ban permanent through amendments to the election bill. Farage has stated that he did not violate any rules and stepped down from Parliament amid the investigation.
