  • Trump Media's bitcoin holdings decreased to 9,477 BTC at the end of June, down from 9,542 BTC at the close of the previous quarter, with the fair value declining from $836 million to $557 million.
  • The company reported losses of $360.6 million on its digital assets during the first half of 2026, most of which were unrealized.
  • This financial report follows the decision to halt plans for a publicly traded CRO treasury company and the end of a separate ETF servicing partnership.

During the second quarter, Trump Media and Technology Group saw a reduction in its bitcoin assets as the overall decline in cryptocurrency values led to substantial losses totaling $360.6 million in the first half of the year.

As of June 30, Trump Media held 9,477.16 bitcoin BTC$63,958.97 valued at $557.1 million, according to its quarterly report. This marks a decline from 9,542.16 BTC at the end of March, representing a decrease of 65 BTC over the quarter.

The company's holdings in Cronos, linked to Crypto.com, remained stable at approximately 756.1 million tokens, but their fair value dropped from $68 million at the end of 2025 to $40.6 million.

A significant portion of Trump Media's bitcoin is utilized as collateral. The company, predominantly owned by the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, had 4,260.73 BTC pledged against convertible notes and an additional 2,077.34 BTC tied to its bitcoin options strategy as of June 30.

Donald Trump has a substantial interest in the trust, which is overseen by his son, Donald Trump, Jr.

The recent financial results were released shortly after Trump Media scaled back its cryptocurrency initiatives.

On Friday, Trump Media, along with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition, mutually agreed to terminate their plans for a business combination aimed at creating a publicly traded company focused on CRO strategy.

The companies cited "prevailing market conditions, and shifting business and stakeholder priorities" as reasons for the decision. They also abandoned a partnership that would have seen Crypto.com service certain planned exchange-traded funds, although Yorkville America indicated that its existing and future ETF plans remain unaffected.
