A user identified as David reported losing his savings after clicking on a fraudulent ad link while searching for Trezor wallet on Google. The first result led him to a fake page hosted on Google Sites, where he was prompted to enter his seed phrase. The wallet address linked to the scam reportedly received approximately 24 BTC, valued at over $1.6 million, through 80 transactions. However, the connection between this wallet and the counterfeit site, as well as the exact amount lost by the victim, has not been independently verified. Trezor stated they are working to have the fraudulent page removed and reminded users that seed phrases should never be entered on any website or form, and that paid search results should not be considered trustworthy.
