Danny Sanders, Trezor's Chief Commercial Officer, acknowledged that the company's hardware wallets can be inconvenient and may not suit every scenario. This was his response to on-chain detective ZachXBT, who previously criticized these devices and suggested using a dedicated iPhone for managing digital assets.

Sanders stated that while a smartphone could be part of an "advanced scheme," its operating system and various features make it vulnerable. According to the Trezor executive, for average cryptocurrency holders, hardware wallets remain the most secure and accessible form of self-storage.
