TeraWulf has acquired a site in Eastern Kentucky to develop HPC infrastructure with a potential capacity exceeding 1 GW.

The project is named Muskie Data Campus. The asset was purchased from Industrial Equity Partners. The first 500 MW is expected to be operational in the second half of 2028, with an additional 500 MW by the end of 2030.

The site is located in the EastPark industrial park (404.7 acres). The company owns and controls approximately 115.3 acres, with room for expansion.

Energy will be supplied by Kentucky Power. A 345 kV substation is being constructed, connecting to a 765 kV line. Additionally, agreements have been signed for the transmission and supply of large loads.

The site is already zoned for development. Permitting processes are ongoing, and the company assesses preparatory work as limited.

The Muskie Data Campus is TeraWulf's second major project in the state. The first is the Justified Data Campus in Hancock County, which has a capacity of 480 MW.

As a reminder, TeraWulf reported $34 million in revenue for the first quarter, with approximately $21 million coming from high-performance computing services.
