The Bitcoin acquisition occurred between October 1 and 4, with an overall expenditure of $28.7 million, averaging $85,838.80 per coin. This brought Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 848,000 BTC, marking a new high for the company, just a week after surpassing its previous record from June. Notably, no purchases were made in the last three days of September.

In addition to the Bitcoin purchases, Strategy repurchased a total of 1,033,168 shares of its Stretch (STRC) preferred stock for $102.6 million in late September, followed by another 740,634 shares for $73.7 million in early October, culminating in a total buyback of $176.3 million. Of this total, $154.1 million was drawn from its USD Cash reserves, and $22.2 million came from interest accrued on cash and short-term investments. The buyback program still has $547.2 million available.
