On September 28, Strategy announced its acquisition of 1,666 BTC for approximately $142.7 million, at an average price of $85,681 per bitcoin. As a result of this transaction, the company's reserves increased to 847,666 BTC, representing about 4% of the total bitcoin supply. Just a week prior, the firm had purchased an additional 950 BTC for $75.7 million.
