A solo miner achieved this feat only once in 300 years with their equipment.

The miner also received an additional 0.003 BTC ($212) in transaction fees, with the block containing 6,755 transactions.

CKPool administrator Kol Koliwas stated that the chance of generating a blockchain unit with such equipment is about 1 in 100,000 per day, meaning an average result like this occurs once every 300 years.

“Congratulations to miner bc1q~edvj with a mere 70 TH/s for solving the 313th solo block on eusolo.ckpool.org!” — he wrote.

This hashrate is equivalent to a 2019 Bitmain Antminer S17+ mining device. The lucky user's equipment represents about 0.0000069% of the total Bitcoin network hashrate.

This marks the second instance this month of a successful block mined by a solo miner. On April 3, a CKPool participant with a hashrate of 230 TH/s earned 3.139 BTC (around $210,000). However, such occurrences remain rare overall.

According to Bennet, solo miners have found only 22 blocks in the past year, earning a total of 69.24 BTC.

As a reminder, in the first quarter of 2026, the hashrate of the leading cryptocurrency decreased by 6%, from 1,066 EH/s to 1,004 EH/s.
