The initial price was set at $0.006. As of this writing, the asset is trading at $0.012, reflecting an increase of 84.8%.
Market capitalization reached $70.2 million, with trading volume exceeding $18.7 million.
More than 100,000 users have the opportunity to claim the SKR airdrop.
Seeker owners can receive free coins through the smartphone's built-in wallet within 90 days. Unclaimed tokens will return to the general pool.
Solana Mobile has allocated 30% of the total SKR supply—10 billion coins—for rewards.
Developers recommend staking the received tokens. The reward mechanism is based on regular emissions occurring every 48 hours.

The tokenomics are designed with a linear inflation reduction principle to incentivize and reward early participants in the ecosystem. The initial annual rate will be 10%, decreasing by 25% each year until it reaches 2%.
The launch of SKR coincided with the start of the second season for the Seeker ecosystem, which will feature an updated app catalog, a rewards system, early access to products, and a focus on key areas: DeFi, gaming, payment solutions, trading, and DePIN.
With SKR going live, the real work begins. Seeker Season 2 is already underway.

Reactions to the Airdrop
Opinions on the SRK coin distribution within the community are divided. Users who received several thousand dollars expressed satisfaction with their rewards.
I just used the phone without expecting anything in return.

Using a crypto-native phone built with security in mind just seemed to be it.
Getting $10k+ as an airdrop is an absolute gift.
Thank you @solanamobile @toly https://t.co/e5l1KVIOBM
“I just used the phone, not expecting anything in return. The idea of using a phone designed for cryptocurrency with a focus on security seemed reward enough. Receiving $10,000 as an airdrop is a true gift,” wrote a user named Moontime.
Some users were pleased with smaller rewards, such as $77.
Just claimed my $SKR 💸

Imagine earning rewards just for using your phone

However, some users expressed dissatisfaction. A community member under the pseudonym Bouncy called the airdrop "the most disappointing" in his 11 years of engaging with crypto projects.
A similar sentiment was echoed by a user named Oiiaoiia, who received $50 during the distribution.
“You buy a phone, wait a year and a half to get it, and then they charge you $50 for shipping. And then, as a reward for all the suffering, you get $50 while the founder of Solana promotes this as Zcash,” he shared.
Recall that in mid-December, the Solana Foundation partnered with Project Eleven to prepare the network for potential threats from quantum computers.
