A recent study by ESET revealed that 79% of surveyed organizations in Singapore experienced at least one AI-related cyber threat in the past year. The most commonly reported issues included AI-driven phishing and impersonation attacks at 46%, attacks on AI tools such as prompt injection at 41%, and deepfakes or voice cloning at 39%.
Despite this, 97% of respondents are currently using or testing AI technologies, yet only 49% actively monitor access to these tools and their outputs. The findings stem from a survey conducted with 400 decision-makers in the field of cybersecurity.
