Sequans Communications, a French chip manufacturer, has divested its remaining 314 BTC, fully exiting Bitcoin as a reserve asset. At its peak, the company held 3,234 BTC, with some of its holdings previously utilized to settle convertible debt. As a result of this sale, Sequans now holds no cryptocurrency on its balance sheet.
In July 2025, Sequans initiated a strategy aimed at acquiring 100,000 BTC by the end of 2030. However, by May of this year, the company decided to halt further accumulation and opted to gradually liquidate its remaining Bitcoin holdings.
