In the third quarter, mining company Riot Platforms disposed of 10,599 BTC, reducing its reserves by nearly 79% from 11,380 to 2,418 BTC. Over the first nine months of the year, these sales generated approximately $1.5 billion, primarily allocated toward enhancing data centers for artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, Riot entered into a 15-year lease agreement for its Texas campus to support an AI laboratory. This contract, which encompasses 910 MW, is projected to yield around $28 billion in revenue over its duration. Including other agreements, the company's expected contractual revenue from data centers is estimated at about $38 billion.
