Project Eleven has unveiled its custodial platform named Strongpoint, designed specifically for institutional investors. This service aims to safeguard digital assets as blockchain networks transition to post-quantum cryptography.

The Zcash Foundation is the first partner in this initiative, assisting in the development of the platform's architecture with a focus on privacy and key management requirements.

Strongpoint offers a solution that allows companies to avoid the need to overhaul their auditing and transaction approval systems with each change in encryption standards across networks. It ensures a unified security framework, even if the underlying cryptographic methods are updated.

According to Project Eleven's CEO Alex Pruden, quantum computing threatens the traditional model of custodial security. Businesses would face continuous infrastructure rebuilds if networks adopt differing standards.

The Strongpoint platform addresses this challenge through an adaptable cryptographic framework.

Project Eleven's analysts evaluated the 20 largest layer-one blockchains by market capitalization and found that only 10 have published roadmaps for transitioning to post-quantum security. Furthermore, these projects are considering at least six different signature schemes, contributing to market fragmentation.

The platform is expected to go live in the fourth quarter of 2026, with current testing being conducted in collaboration with a select group of partners.

Founded in 2024 by Alex Pruden and Conor Deegan, Project Eleven raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Castle Island Ventures in January 2026. The total funding secured by the company has reached $26 million.

In July, Project Eleven introduced an early prototype for a zero-knowledge proof mechanism aimed at protecting Bitcoin rights in the event of a quantum breach.

Additionally, in September, the company acquired Riva Labs, which specializes in post-quantum algorithms and wallets.
