Radoslaw Piesiewicz, the head of the Polish Olympic Committee, has been detained as part of an investigation concerning the cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto. According to reports, he is suspected of accepting bribes in exchange for facilitating sponsorship agreements.
The criminal case against the exchange was initiated in April 2026. The Polish prosecutor's office is examining potential fraudulent activities involving both fiat and digital currencies, as well as the laundering of proceeds obtained through illegal means.
