Starting September 1, the retail chain Magnit and the telecommunications operator MTS will begin accepting payments in digital rubles, as reported by RBC Crypto.
To make purchases on platforms like Ozon and Wildberries, customers will need to set up a digital ruble wallet through their banking application. Once this is done, the payment method will be available during the checkout process. Merchants will also need a separate account to accept these payments.
