The cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin and proprietary trading firm Era Trade have announced the start of a trading tournament for users in the CIS, according to a press release.

The tournament consists of two stages. The online qualification will last for 30 days, from January 19 to February 17. Participants will trade USDT futures and compete for positions on the leaderboard based on their net profit (PnL).

The top five traders will travel to Moscow for the offline final, competing for $500,000 in proprietary capital. The trip will be fully funded by the organizers.

PnL Challenge

To qualify for the ranking, participants must achieve a trading volume of at least $5 million. Prizes will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st to 3rd places — business class flights and accommodation in a five-star hotel in Moscow;
  • 4th to 5th places — economy class flights and hotel accommodation;
  • 6th place — 500 USDT;
  • 7th place — 400 USDT;
  • 8th place — 300 USDT;
  • 9th place — 200 USDT;
  • 10th place — 100 USDT.

KuCoin Volume Rewards

Alongside the PnL challenge, a lottery is also taking place. For every 500,000 USDT in trading volume, participants receive one ticket. Each ticket offers an equal chance of winning.

The lottery prize pool exceeds 50,000 USDT, with prizes including an iPhone 17 Pro Max, PlayStation 5 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3, cash prizes of 500 and 100 USDT, as well as KuCoin branded merchandise.

Era Trade Offline Final

The top five traders from the qualification round will meet in Moscow to compete for Era Trade's proprietary capital:

  • 1st place — $300,000, an individual championship belt, and elite trader status;
  • 2nd place — $100,000;
  • 3rd place — $50,000;
  • 4th to 5th places — $25,000 each.

Winners will have the opportunity to manage capital with institutional support from Era Trade.
