Goldman Sachs has reached an agreement to acquire NEOS Investments in a cash-and-stock deal valued at up to $2.25 billion. This acquisition will allow the bank to take control of 19 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to Bitcoin and Ethereum. The total assets in NEOS's launched products, which include the Bitcoin High Income ETF and the Boosted Bitcoin High Income ETF, amount to approximately $30 billion.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, pending regulatory approval. Following the deal, Goldman Sachs's ETF assets under management are projected to exceed $130 billion.
