From May 13 to 15, the Moscow Trading Week 2026 conference took place at the Federation Tower in Moscow City, featuring leading experts from the financial market, regulatory representatives, and investors.

ForkLog attended the event as a media partner.

The main theme of the forum was the digital economy and the tokenization of real assets. Participants discussed the development of digital financial assets (DFAs) and the future of cross-border payments in Russia.

Experts also addressed the role of artificial intelligence in finance, discussing the potential replacement of traders with AI, appropriate risk management, and the challenges of the "black box" issue.

Additionally, the conference highlighted legal challenges in regulating cryptocurrencies and the DeFi sector. Participants concluded that most digital assets in Russia exist in a gray area.

This situation necessitates the expansion of experimental legal frameworks and the continued legalization of industrial mining. Many speakers warned that without these measures, there is a risk of losing tax revenue and capital flight.

"The old world has collapsed. It is up to us to build the new world. Moscow Trading Week 2026 provided a map and a compass. The next step is execution," said the organizers.

A separate panel focused on traditional finance, including the shift of retail investors from stocks to bonds and liquidity funds, the strong ruble, and currency diversification.

As a reminder, ForkLog attended a press event hosted by Bitget in December 2025.
