A prominent Ethereum holder, who participated in the initial coin offering (ICO), has moved 5,000 ETH, valued at approximately $11.5 million, after holding it for 11 years, according to on-chain analyst EmberCN. Of this amount, 1,500 ETH worth around $3.45 million has been transferred to centralized exchanges, although there is no confirmation yet of any sale. The investor originally bought 100,000 ETH at a price of $0.311 per coin, totaling about $31,100. In 2016, he sold half of his holdings for a profit of approximately 17 times the initial investment, retaining the remaining 50,000 ETH until this recent transfer.
