Senator Elizabeth Warren has sent a letter to U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, seeking clarification on the decision to ease the export of advanced AI chips to the United Arab Emirates. This move follows investments by Emirati firms in cryptocurrency projects associated with Donald Trump's family.

According to CNBC, the investments involve World Liberty Financial and the USD1 stablecoin. Warren expressed that the actions of the department could raise concerns regarding potential conflicts of interest and the influence of the president's crypto business on government policy.
