Devin Kim, a former engineer at xAI, has initiated legal action against xAI and SpaceX following his termination in September 2025. Kim alleges that he was dismissed for raising alarms regarding the chatbot Grok, which he claimed posed risks of discrimination and could potentially facilitate the spread of sensitive information about weapons of mass destruction. He specifically pointed out xAI co-founder Jimmy Ba as an individual who attempted to suppress his concerns. Neither xAI nor SpaceX has provided a comment on the lawsuit.
