CRWV Share Price (TradingView)Summary
  • CoreWeave's stock surged nearly 17% after it upped its revenue forecast and reported a backlog of $104 billion.
  • The company revealed that its second-quarter revenue more than doubled to $2.58 billion, slightly exceeding expectations, while its net loss of $626 million was lower than anticipated.
  • Both IREN and Cipher Digital saw a 5% increase as investors shifted their attention to AI data-center investments over crypto assets.

CoreWeave (CRWV) experienced a 16% rise in pre-market trading on Wednesday, following a robust growth report and an improved annual outlook, which also positively affected the wider neocloud market.

The AI infrastructure firm announced that its second-quarter revenue exceeded expectations, reaching $2.58 billion, more than double that of the previous year. Additionally, its net loss of $626 million was less than what analysts had predicted. The company projects third-quarter revenue between $3.45 billion and $3.6 billion and has revised its 2026 revenue forecast to a range of $12.4 billion to $13.2 billion.

In the wake of this news, IREN (IREN) and Cipher Digital (CIFR) both saw a 5% increase, as investors preferred companies poised to gain from the growing demand for AI computing.

CoreWeave concluded the quarter with a staggering $104 billion in contracted business and secured an additional $25 billion in customer commitments after the quarter ended. The management noted that newly signed contracts featured margins 5 to 10 percentage points higher than previous levels, indicative of limited capacity and favorable pricing.

These results highlight a clear market divide, where AI infrastructure is drawing in capital, customers, and high valuations, while bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market struggle to maintain momentum, with bitcoin currently trading below $64,000.
