Zhang Yiming, the founder of ByteDance, has reclaimed his position as the richest person in China for the second consecutive year, with a net worth of $99.7 billion, reflecting a 43% increase from the previous year. This surge is partly attributed to the growth of ByteDance's AI division.
In a notable rise, Liang Wenfeng, the founder of DeepSeek, made his debut on the list, securing the seventh spot with a fortune of $41.7 billion. Meanwhile, Chen Tianzhi, head of AI chip developer Cambricon, climbed to the tenth position with $30.5 billion.
Changpeng Zhao, co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, ranked twelfth with a net worth of $27.7 billion, narrowly surpassing Jack Ma and his family's wealth, which is estimated at $27.5 billion by Hurun.
