In celebration of its eighth anniversary, cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has introduced a trading tournament featuring a prize pool of $80,000. Participants in futures trading will compete until October 8 for prizes including the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch, AirPods 5, and cryptocurrency payouts, according to a press release.
The tournament commenced on September 23 and consists of two main activities. The first involves a competition based on ROI, which measures the profitability of futures trading. The second rewards traders for achieving higher VIP statuses.
Prizes for ROI Leaders
The top ten traders based on ROI will receive the following gadgets:
- 1st Place — iPhone 18 Pro 512 GB ($1,399);
- 2nd Place — Apple Watch Ultra 4 ($799);
- 3rd Place — Apple Watch Series 12 ($399);
- 4th to 10th Places — AirPods 5 ($149 each).
Only traders with a positive ROI and futures trading volume of at least 1 million USDT will be included in the final ranking. Other participants with volumes starting from 100,000 USDT will share $8,000 in ETH proportionally based on their returns. Individual payouts will not exceed $100, and amounts less than $10 will not be distributed by the exchange.
Bitget calculates ROI as the ratio of profit to the sum of initial capital and all deposits made to the futures account. Each deposit increases the calculation base, potentially lowering the ROI figure. After the competition concludes, the exchange requests that participants refrain from transferring assets for 15 minutes to ensure stability in results and rankings.
The leaderboard updates every 15 minutes, showcasing the top 50 traders in real time. As of September 24, the leading trader holds an ROI of 72.6% with a trading volume of 25,327 USDT.

Winners in the top ten must contact a VIP manager by October 10 at 19:00 (Kyiv/MSK), or they will receive their rewards in USDT instead of gadgets.
VIP Status Upgrade Bonuses
For the second activity, Bitget has allocated $68,000. Rewards will be given to users who elevate their VIP status through futures trading and maintain that status for at least 10 days.
The size of the bonuses increases with the level achieved. Moving from a regular account to VIP 1 yields a trading bonus of 100 USDT, while the maximum payout can reach $1,500 in ETH per person.
The number of awards is limited: 105 for reaching VIP 1 and five for VIP 7, distributed based on futures trading volume. If the limit for a particular level is reached, the exchange will reduce the payout to the next tier's amount, considering the trader's ranking.
Bitget will finalize the status on October 8 at 18:59 (Kyiv/MSK). Winners will be notified via email within seven business days, and they will have an equal time frame to contact the VIP manager, or else their rewards will be forfeited.
Participation Conditions
To participate, users must click the registration button on the tournament page. Eligible trades include perpetual futures for USDT-M, USDC-M, and Coin-M, excluding the USDC/USDT pair and CFDs.
The company is celebrating its anniversary amidst the development of a universal exchange model (UEX), which integrates cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, and traditional financial instruments within a single account.
Additionally, on September 17, Bitget launched another anniversary promotion with a prize pool of $88,000 in Bitcoin and USDT, aimed at users from the CIS and Ukraine.
