Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has organized a series of online and offline activities for International Women's Day. This initiative expands the Blockchain4Her program aimed at attracting women to the blockchain industry.
The campaign centers around the question: "How can we achieve mass adoption without women?" The exchange will launch a video campaign on social media focused on overcoming gender biases in Web3. Users and industry leaders are invited to share their experiences in creating inclusive structures within the sector.
"Major players must recognize the opportunities and influence of women, especially in the financial sector. Even the smallest step matters," said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen.
In collaboration with Bitget Wallet, the exchange will issue a limited-edition card for March 8. Cardholders will be able to make payments via Mastercard and Visa in over 50 countries across Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Offline Events
Building on last year's Lady Forward concept, Bitget will host a series of meetings in Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, the CIS countries, and Latin America. The program includes workshops, networking sessions, and panel discussions.
In Southeast Asia, the exchange will organize a mini-conference, panel discussions, and an evening dinner (iftar).
In a previous interview with ForkLog, Gracy Chen shared insights on the results of Blockchain4Her. The program has reached thousands of participants across various regions and lowered the entry barriers for women in the blockchain industry.
