Bitcoin has surged back above $82,000 on Friday, recovering from a dip below $80,000 the previous day. This rise coincides with an 11% increase in ZEC, which reached approximately $1,230, despite ongoing withdrawals from its only U.S. ETF.
Other cryptocurrencies also experienced gains, with SOL and ether rising over 3% to around $106 and $2,450 respectively. Additionally, DOGE and XRP increased between 2% and 3%, while BNB, HYPE, and TRX saw modest gains of about 1%. Bitcoin itself was up nearly 1%, as reported by CoinDesk.
However, the outflows from ETFs continue to be a concern. The U.S. spot ZEC fund experienced a loss of about $15 million on Thursday, marking its fifth outflow this month, according to data from SoSoValue. Ether funds suffered a withdrawal of approximately $60 million, and SOL funds lost nearly $10 million, extending their streak of outflows to nine consecutive days. XRP also saw a minor outflow.
